The American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) has created the Program for the Assessment of Veterinary Education Equivalence (PAVE®), a pathway for veterinarians who are graduates of international, non-accredited veterinary programs, to practice in the United States and Canada.
This means that students who attend Xavier University School of Veterinary Medicine while it is still undergoing the accreditation process with CAAM-HP and additional accreditation agencies can complete their clinical rotations (Evaluated Clinical Experience) at Xavier affiliated hospitals in the US, Canada, UK, or Australia at one of our partner accredited veterinary programs, pass the PAVE Qualifying Science Exam, sit for the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE), and practice as a licensed veterinarian in the United States and Canada upon graduation.
Xavier is in the process of finalizing affiliation agreements.
